Guru evening with Stephen Parry on Lean Agile Workplace

This is short notice, but we could not pass up this opportunity with a true guru from across the pond!

The Lean and Agile Workplace: People, People, People these are the three principles for designing adaptive, agile and engaging workplaces.

What do work-climate principles tell us about the way we need to design, build and operate modern knowledge businesses?  Can we design organisations that are adaptive, agile and engaging for employees, managers and leaders alike?  Can we really change cultures and management thinking in reasonably short time-frames?  How do we move away from direct and control leadership towards an environment where everyone is a leader who listens and adapts?  This is a call to action to design back in the employees’ willing contribution and establish a real human enterprise that is adaptive, agile and engaging – for everyone.

Stephen Parry is an international leader and strategist on the design and creation of adaptive enterprises. He has a world-class reputation for passionate leadership and organisational transformation by changing the way employees, managers and leaders think about their business and their customers.

His career started with Digital Equipment Corp (DEC) supporting many mission critical IT systems. He later went onto run large IT infrastructure and application support organisations. He now advises global software and cloud IT companies on the best way to design agile and lean workplaces that place the knowledge worker at the heart of the business.  He is the author of Sense and Respond: The Journey to Customer Purpose (Palgrave), a highly regarded book written as a follow-up to his award-winning organisational transformations. His change work was recognised when he received Best Customer Service Strategy at the National Business Awards. The judges declared his strategy had created organisational transformations which demonstrated an entire cultural change around the needs of customers and could, as a result, demonstrate significant business growth, innovation and success.  Website and Blog:
