Product Owner Group – Feb: “Why didn’t I think of that?”

Hi all – new date. Please update your RSVP accordingly. As a reminder, if you have this on your calendar, the new date does not update!

“Why didn’t I think of that?”
Every great idea seems simple… in hindsight. So, why aren’t we coming up with more great ideas? We are inherently good problem-solvers, but ideation and problem-solving are not the same.
This session is for you if you have ever found yourself saying things like “every good idea has already been done…” or thinking “I’m just not a creative person.” Let’s take some time to explore how we can open our minds, improve our creative thinking, and ultimately change the way we look at our product, and the way we look at the world. In this evening session, we’ll learn

* What exactly is ‘ innovation’?

* How to affirm our own creativity and innovative thinking.

* How to get better at bringing ideation and innovation into our organization and our product life cycle. As always, interactive exercises, valuable collaboration, and a chance to hone our craft!

Sponsoring is a great way to connect with leadership and practitioners and get to know the talent in our community. We can’t hold these events without our valuable sponsors. RSVP’s are important for planning purposes and we take them very seriously! PLEASE READ: RSVP counts are used to determine meetup supplies, space, and how much food and drink to supply at each meetup. Did you know it costs a sponsor around $10 a head for food? The point is, if you RSVP to a meetup, please show up.
