Join other Product Owners to network and grow as a community of practice. Please keep your RSVPs updated – this event will have a limited headcount.
Speaker:
Our presenter is Jamel Canty, the VP of Product Management at Jackson Hewitt. In addition to having real experience with Product Ownership, he is also a conference speaker and mentor for Product Owners, so we are excited to have him join us.
Jamel is an affable technology executive with a strong track record in managing cross-functional teams and effectively communicating concepts to business stakeholders at various levels. He uses a collaborative leadership style, personal judgment, diplomacy, and in-depth understanding of technology to help drive innovation and business value.
For the past 8 years Jamel has served as a Servant Leader championing lean and agile principles in developing products.
Jamel holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Management & Technology from Syracuse University, as well as various certifications in project management, scrum and agile software methodologies. When not working he volunteers as a youth mentor through Phi Beta Sigma’s youth affiliate the Sigma Beta Club and serves as the president of the local youth football league.
