Starting with Why to Create Your Shared Vision (or Understanding)

Going beyond the What and the How of Agile, teams need to ask themselves Why?  Why are we here?  Why does the team exist?  In order to be truly effective, a team needs a sense of purpose and some clearly defined goals for itself, independent of the project.  In “Start with Why?”, Christy will show us how to get to the core purpose of a team and will give us specific techniques for goal-setting and team building.  Not part of any book on Agile, Christy’s methods clearly address the Agile Principle: “Build projects around motivated individuals. Give them the environment and support they need, and trust them to get the job done.” These methods not only strengthen team bonds and create an environment fertile for success, but they also give teams the sense of purpose they need to overcome any obstacle and shine like stars.  Once a team defines its Why?, motivation will increase, and the team will have a new source of power to draw from.  Don’t miss this transformative session.
