A Showdown of Scaling Frameworks

Jens, Steven, and Andrea will introduce the four most commonly used frameworks for scaling agile:

JENS OSTERGAARD is the founder of ScrumTrainingInstitute. He consults and helps organizations understand the fundamentals of Scrum, and argues that organizations should keep Scrum as pure as possible, until they fully understand the mechanisms that drive product development forward.

Being the first Certified Scrum Practioner (CSP) and one of the first Certified Scrum Trainers (CST), worldwide, Jens has successfully certified over 10,000 people and helped numerous companies on there agile journey.

Having more than 25 years of experience as developer, DBA, team manager, project manager, and ScrumMaster, primarily in financial organizations, he has worked with all aspects of software development. Jens has managed several Scrum projects, and became a fully qualified CSM Trainer in Copenhagen, 2004. Apart from consulting and training, Jens gives popular presentations about Scrum at conferences and for organizations.

Jens is based in Orlando, Florida.

STEVEN GRANESE has been building innovative software teams and solutions for his entire 18 year career. His expertise lies in transforming organizations to reach new levels of effectiveness, customer satisfaction and employee engagement by adopting Agile principles and practices. Steven is responsible for leading the Transform Practice at AgileThought, where he serves as its Managing Director. He leads a team of the top Agile Coaches, DevOps Consultants, and Product Consultants in the United States. Prior to his current role, Steven worked as a consultant at Tribridge for six years where he worked both internally and with clients to evangelize and coach Agile ways of working.

Recognized as an expert on Agile, Steven is an avid speaker for companies, conferences, and user groups. He is a Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) and a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance, and an Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) from the Project Management Institute. He holds a Masters of Science Degree from Carnegie Mellon University in the field of Electronic Commerce, a Masters of Arts from Georgetown University in Communication, Culture and Technology, and a Bachelors Degree from Wake Forest University in Psychology, where he lettered for four years in baseball.

ANDREA FLOYD is an Agile Transformation Consultant with more than 25 years of years in Software Development and 14 years of Agile experience. Andrea has extensive experience leading global Agile transformations in a wide variety of industries including; Aviation, Manufacturing, Financial Services, Mobile Technology and Cyber Security

Andrea is experienced in architecting innovative visions, strategy, roadmaps and implementations of Agile Frameworks using Scrum, Kanban and Scaled Agile Framework for Lean Enterprises (SAFe).

Andrea holds the following certifications; SAFe Program Consultant (SPC 5.0) from Scaled Agile, SAFe Practitioner from Scaled Agile, SAFe Agilest from Scaled Agile, Advanced Certified Scrum Master (ACSM) from Scrum Alliance, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. She has her Master of Business Administration Degree from Nova Southeastern University and her Management Information Systems Bachelors Degree from the University of South Florida.
