Tampa WIA Mission: Thinking globally & acting locally to amplify & empower women in agile.
6:00 – 6:30 PM – Networking and Food
6:30 – 8:00 PM – Main Event: How Women Rise
One of the most profound leadership books in two decades, How Women Rise by Marshall Goldsmith and Sally Helgesen (2018), highlights 13 habits (and practices) that many of us successfully employed to advance to middle management. Originally written with a female audience in mind, How Women Rise explores strategies to tweak our practices to open the doors to C suite opportunities.
Our speaker this month, Carol Dekkers, attended a private workshop by the authors last summer in New York City and will share insights and highlights sure to propel you to greater heights in your own career.
35 books ($21 each including tax) will be available on site. Please bring cash if you would like to purchase a book.
Carol Dekkers is an internationally recognized consultant, speaker and author (The IT Measurement Compendium; Practical Project Estimation; and dozens of other titles) whose passion lies in working with organizations who want to measurably improve their competitiveness and change their corporate culture to be inclusive, productive and relevant.
